Rainbow chicken

pick any color for just Indian Rupee ₹3 each.
I've seen the best minds of my time, lost in finals, Facebook & fornication.
Liberated within the walls of over-accomplishments
Garbed in their colored sameness.

p.s: shared with Monkey Man as a Sunday 160.
Say what you want to in 160 characters, including spaces.
It's probably all that texting across the classroom that inspired the idea.If you're brave enough
give it a go - it's not as easy as it looks!

Fantastic thoughts - and do they really paint chicks like Easter Eggs someplace? Wow. I wonder if it washes off in the rain?

in their colored sameness...you captured a majority of the human race...always chasing, yet are they really enjoying...

It was fun!
typing and clearing and typing again on my phone to find the right word that would convey what I have to say but be just 160. It was like puzzle on a sunday evening! :)

We are the colours of nature,
The colours between black and white,
Living in a space called day and night,
Let's live the beauty without a fight.....

Awesome pic and poem!

luved the phrase u used - colored sameness. but the 1st thing that came to my mind was 'unity in diversity' - text book definitions from social studies - std viii i guess :)

Amropali said...

The beauty is but fleeting
gripped and barbed but slipping
The fight is not to live through it all
but the desparate attempt not to let the memory of it fall...

:)

p.s: thanx for the verse-comment. I love replying to verse by verse.

I was thinking more in terms of the individuality that we strive for all our lives but in the end, we remain a part of the whole. the same as others in most parts.
