The Writer and the Block

Hot aromatic cuppa in one hand and a black-inked device in the other I felt, albeit for a moment, I could word the thought.

'Erasing the hurts. Band-aiding the tears....'

The moment ended and the thought-er thunk it all not.

Today all can happen
I live to see the snow melt you
I could not.

praying hands,
restless under the wrinkled sheet,
Seconds
measureless
inside a fuzzy head;
I,
a few ellipsis
lost in comprehension.
