The accident

My trembling fingers slip into your frozen palm,
Our eyes meet;mine searching,
Yours looking at me- lifeless.

brrr.. thats scary, Amropali.. a very powerful haiku!

welcome to Haiku Heights :) your tercet isn't technically a haiku.. a haiku has 17 syllables in total :) syllable=pronunciation sounds. eg: Amropali would have 4 syllables, since it is voiced as Am-ro-pa-li. Hope to see you try out. Your effort here in three lines has lot of potential :)

does that technically count as a haiku btw? isn't it supposed to ne 5-7-5 syllables per line?

still, creepy. :|

I know. As it was my first attempt at a Haiku, I googled and saw that English haikus aren't as strict with the syllable count. So.. u know took my liberties. :)
Thanx for the encouragement.
